Trujillo Spain

Trujillo is a municipality located in the province of Cáceres, in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain. Trujillo is both a center for tourism, with over 25 hotels, and a regional market town. The old town contains many medieval and Renaissance buildings, many of which were built or enriched by conquistadors born in the city. The most important monuments are the castle (an old Arab fortress), the Church of Santa María (13th century), and the Church of San Francisco. The city hosts the National Cheese Festival in early May.
