Once a remote, undeveloped stretch of sand where adventurous travelers camped on the beach, Mui Ne has transformed into a continuous line of seaside resorts along the coast. Most of these resorts are still low-rise and surrounded by attractive gardens by the sea. The original fishing village remains, but visitors now outnumber locals. As upscale hotels, stylish restaurants, and chic shops continue to open, Mui Ne is steadily becoming more high-end, yet it still maintains a laid-back, kite-surfer vibe.
