Ranong Thailand

Ranong is a city in southern Thailand and the former capital of Ranong Province and Mueang Ranong District. The city fully covers the area of the Khao Niwet tambon. As of 2005, it had a population of 16,163. Ranong is located 586 kilometers (about 364 miles) south-southwest of Bangkok by road.
