About the destination: Isla Mujeres is situated in the Caribbean Sea, close to the Yucatan peninsula, southeast of Mexico. The island is one of the ten municipalities of the State of Quintana Roo and is located thirteen kilometers from the city of Cancun, the region's primary tourist hub. Isla Mujeres is a quaint and charming island, positioned across the bay from Cancun. Another intriguing attraction of the island is the park and beach club "El Garrafon" where you can snorkel, snuba, sea trek, kayak among others. Further into this park, there is a small area dedicated to Ixchel Arquelogica.
