Transfer-Tour West-Ostküste (Trincomalee) mit Übernachtung & Besichtigung Sigiriya

Instead of a normal transfer with German-speaking driver, the transfer from the airport in the west of Sri Lanka to the hotel on the east coast is conducted as a tour with overnight stay/sightseeing in Sigiriya and German-speaking driver.

Day 1: Colombo - Sigiriya (D)

After arrival at the airport, we drive to Sigiriya, about half way to Trincomalee. In the late afternoon we climb the majestic rock fortress of Sigiriya. Sigiriya houses the fortress in the sky and is the fantastic single wonder of the island. It is also known as Lion Rock. At the top are large and magnificent gardens and the palace swimming pool. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Sigiriya - Trincomalee (B)

After breakfast, drive to Trincomalee.

F = Breakfast / M = Lunch / A = Dinner

Note: Travel in local air-conditioned cars, minivans or buses. Subject to changes that do not affect the overall tour. On public holidays / major events (e.g. cricket tournaments / Perahera) there may be surcharges. For the climb of Sigiriya Rock we recommend to bring sturdy shoes.

Please note: The infrastructure in Sri Lanka is poorly developed, travelling takes a lot of time even on short distances.
